Antique book---the life of winfield scott hancock- personal, military and political---printed in 1880---illustrated of wood with battle-scenes by a. And steel portrait by ball, from sarony---includes maps of some battles etc. --the book is in remarkable condition---hancock is the one that lead picketts charge and he made it to the union lines and was mortally wounded and asked the union soldiers to see general armistead of the union forces but i think he expired before he got there---this copy is getting scarce you may see some for sale but not in this condition.
