Very Rare VINTAGE Antique 1861 Book Little Drummer Boy New York Regiment 1st Edition Civil War. The 13th New York Regiment New York State Militia to be exact. This book was published by Reformed Protestant Dutch Church. The drummer boy in question Clarence D. Mckenzie was a child of the Mission Sunday School in New York, he was used as a recruiting tool by the New York churches to fill the ranks of the Union Army to fight the South.

It was a very important book during that period and is now quite rare and eminently collectible. This 6 by 3 3/4 book is all original, it has all of its pages that look great & pages have some smudges due to age. Only 2 pages have 1" tear and a 1 1/2" tear.
