Offering for sale is this Antique US Civil War 79th Infantry Regiment New York Volunteer Badge Hat Pin Highlanders. Said to have come from the battle of Knoxville. It features the correct font for the numbers on a flattened double twisted cable frame. Made of a silver colored metal all hand soldered together with a round wire c- clasp. The pin is broken off and there is patina; we have not cleaned it. Measures approximately 1 & 1/8th by 7/8ths inches.
