This is a posted foreign use 1862 American Civil War patriotic cover featuring two U. Stamps on it - a #68A Blue Green 10 cent Washington and a #75 dark red brown Jefferson with a waffle postmark. This piece is postmarked March 15 with a New York cancel, and then dated 1862 on another cancel. It was sent to Chateau Salins in France. This is altogether a magnificently rare piece with a combination of superb factors to it.
