TIME LIFE'THE CIVIL WAR. Book series chronicles in great detail the. The series was simultaneously released in the US and Canada between 1983 and 1987.

Some titles focused on a specific topic, such as. And spies, but most volumes concentrated on the battles and campaigns, presented in chronological order. Each volume in the series was 176 pages in length, heavily illustrated and with pictorial essays on specific topics within each volume and came standard without a dust jacket. Executed in hardcover, each volume was bound in silvery-gray padded faux leather, the cover endowed with in deep blue printed text imprints, and heavily embossed with Civil War symbology with an oval shaped illustration glued on.

Most, if not all of the books are in GREAT vintage condition! Most books have'mailing address label' on inside front cover of previous owner - some have name also hand written. The spines are completely intact. All books are in great used condition.

Books really look like they were never used. Some seem like they were never opened. Spine and pages are all in excellent shape. All are clean inside and out! Front / back covers are super clean.

They just show a little/to very minimal surface shelf wear to bottoms of spines/edges. All top / bottoms / ends / corners / spines are quite clean! Did not see any dents, etc.

I just enjoy hunting at Estate Sales or Garage Sales for a good find. I keep a few for myself and sell some. Unfortunately, I do not know how the books were cared for, where they were kept, if the people had pets or smoked. I check them for condition, and I check for any obvious smells and I try and describe them as good as I can - but this method is not perfect.

Older books tend to have some degree of tanning. These are all used books (unless otherwise specified) and although I find many that look like they have never been read, the majority have been so you can expect some wear/creasing from normal use.
