PLEASE see the photos for the most accurate, objective description of the condition. 22nd New York Cavalry; captured & sent to Libby Prison & quickly transported to Salisbury Prison in NC; he died there 2/20/1865. His handwriting is fairly easy to read. Pages overall clean & crisp with some smudges, dirt, or marks on some pages.
