RARE Civil War Soldier IDED 1st Sergt. He served in the 109th New York Volunteer Infantry as 1st Sergt.

And Captain of Company E. This includes part of the album page that it was from and has period ink identification. He enlisted August 5th 1862 and was in until 1865. This Regiment was raised at Binghamton Broome County New York and was very hard fought Regiment. The photo is very clear and in good condition for its age.
