This rare set of diaries is written by Theodore Bradley, a civil war veteran for the union, beginning in 1900 in Potsdam New York. Theodore was a dairy owner and talks about going to several of his factories, making deals with many different people, family, deaths, and much more.
The diaries are written by him until his death in 1917. The day he died, his wife continued writing in his diaries from that day forward with details of hardship, family, loneliness, perseverance and much more. She wrote daily entries until she passed in 1926. Every diary is pretty much full and they get more detailed throughout the years. There are cash accounts in the back of many diaries and a memo book included as well.Its really an incredible story all put together and would make a fantastic book on the life of a civil war veteran.
