For sale is a copy of RARE! Full leather cover antique PRE Civil War American HOLY BIBLE in good antique condition. It is printed in the year 1845 by the American Bible Society located in New York. The front endpaper contains the original owner's signature "Mrs Ralph Coates, North Stonington, CT". The Bible measures 7.5" by 4.5" for the cover size, about 2 thick.

The front and back cover are both full leather and in good antique condition. The hinges where the covers meet the spine has some superficial cracks here and there, but still well connected with finding paper and strings. Age related sign of rubbing and losses to the leather are to be expected.

All pages appear to be complete. There are some age related foxing, yellowing, staining commensurate with age.
