GRANT, VOLUMES 1 & 2. Black and White illustrations and maps. Full sheep skin on boards note: some sellers show as calf, attached Grant volumes info shows as sheep.

Gilt rules framing red and black labels on spine, gilt stamped titles on labels, labels somewhat faded. Common to sheepskin bindings, a weakness at the joints show both volumes hinges starting but attached. Clean interior, previous owner signature and date of June 1886, shows as Cooperstown, NY. Clean, bright interior that is tight.

Black and white illustrations and maps. Volume 1 rear cover is still attached to endpaper, on the exterior it appears that the cover may have been glued, but it opens and closes just fine. Pages turn fine, but feel tight when opened to a page. Pagination: Volume 2 584, Volume #2 647.
