Original Civil War Union Army Leather Cap Pouch - Marked: C. The leather is soft and supple. There is normal crazing and surface cracking on the flap.

No rips or tears in the leather, the seams are all in good shape. It does not have the lambs wool liner but it does have the vent pick and finial. The pouch is marked C. The box is approximately 3.5" wide x 3.5" tall x 1 1/2 deep. This is a nice representative example that has ages well over it's 150+ year life.
