Real Civil War Soldier cased photo. From his hat believed to be an officer in the New York Volunteers 141st Regiment Company E (his name is unknown and lost to time). The NYV mustered in Sept 11, 1862 and mustered out June 8, 1865. From what I have read - they saw action At the Battle of Missionary Ridge, Kennesaw Mountain, the Siege of Atlanta, Sherman's march to the Sea, the Siege of Savannah and other engagements.
