Ohio in the War Her Statesmen Her Generals and Soldiers 1868 W. Reid Civil War

  
Rare first edition of "Ohio in the [Civil] War: Her Statesmen, Her Generals, and Soldiers" by Whitelaw Reid. Two large, hefty, leather bound volumes. Includes a number of portraits and engravings. Leather boards scuffed/scraped/discolored and previously repaired with tape. Boards and binding feel sturdy as repaired. 2: same pages started to detach at top, but still attached. Pencil writing on FFEP vol. 1 and title page (both vols).

There is some water staining, primarily in Vol. This consists of: (1) minor stains just around edges of front matter and a few pages in and (2) larger stains toward the last pages. 2 seems to be much better off. Some minimal foxing scattered throughout.
