Civil War token NY 630-BQ 4a R-8Fuld 3rd Ed. The piece is listed under Philip J. Seiter, and although it doesn't show his name on it, it is attributed this way because the 1861 and 1864 Directories show Philip J. Seiter at 102 3rd Avenue, the address shown on the token. Redeemable at My Market 102 Third Avenue, N.

The reverse shows an Indian head facing left, with stars in front and back, and the date, 1863, at the bottom. The piece is struck slightly off-center. I have indicated the piece as uncirculated as to wear, but the surfaces are textured, slightly porous, but no indication of wear.

The piece is a mix of medium to dark brown, with lightly mottled areas that are thinly colored near black.
