Correct early Civil War era M1861. 58 caliber Federal Cartridge box, with sling. This box is hand cut from patterns once removed from the original that they were taken from.

Hand cut, hand dyed and hand stitched throughout as were the originals and with tins, and sling, this box with pointed brass finial is very close to the original. One of the more prolific early war manufacturers. Matching cap pouch issued by the same maker are also available.

If you are looking for machine stitched, cheap, imported copies, keep looking, such is not here! No foreign made junk here. Quality American leather, manufactured by hand in a one-man, veteran owned shop, I can sell a bit below the Big Boys since this is not my day job.
