This is five volumes out of six. This set is missing the index. Over 4400 pages of unit summaries and short biographic information on all or nearly all new york participants in the American civil war. A couple of maps and maybe a dozen or so illustrations of battle scenes. Binding is tight except for small amount of fraying at front binding of volume 5 see photo 12.
