Bindings cracked and quite loose, spine coverings detaching and some pages beginning to detach. Interior hinges of spine show tape repair. Page edges and corners have moderate shelf wear and aging. Covers show heavy shelf wear with scuffing, fraying and fading.

For Sale In "As Is" Condition. Each volume has a pocket inside front for maps --two pockets are empty. One pocket contained the following. Civil War related newspaper clippings. Copy of a typed letter from James Longstreet.

1864 Confederate States of America Twenty Dollar note. Paper shows sun toning, tears and chipping. All three volumes are signed inside front by Civil War Veteran. "J" 71st NY, Sickles Excelsior Brigade, Second Division, Third Corps. Included in photos is a screen shot from NYS historical records with some detail of Radecker's service. From the Collection of Dr. Diamond educated over ten thousand students, served as Chairman of the History Department several times and authored six books. He was an often cited expert in German history and in particular the period around World War II and the Holocaust. His 1974 book, The Nazi Movement in the United States, earned a Pulitzer Prize nomination in history.
