Very nice cdv of Civil War Major General Joseph Hooker. Hooker was one of a number who commanded The Army of The Potomac during The Civil War but resigned just 3 days before The Battle of Gettysburg, when George Meade took over and defeated Robert E.
Hooker achieved good success during the war especially at Lookout Mountain. This cdv is an original Mathew Brady taken in New York City.
It has both Brady markings on the front and reverse. It is in very good condition with a very good photo of Hooker.
