This is an early printing of this popular book on the civil war which includes an additional 1938 letter and map from the US Department of the Interior / National Park Service containing visitor instructions and locations in Battlefield park, Virginia. This book is in very good condition with no loose pages. Bright cloth boards, 454 pages and 15 maps.
The list of maps is shown in our photos. Very high wear to the book extremities and some typical un-glueing under the spine bridge all pages are firm to the text block. Some of the fold-out maps have little tears from the "untucking process". I would still say the maps are in very good condition despite the fact.
The Hinges and gutters are excellent. Probably the best copy of this scarce book available. This item is in the category "Books & Magazines\Antiquarian & Collectible". The seller is "booksanddrawerslides" and is located in this country: US.
