First edition, 8 vo (9" x 6 1/4"), pp. 474, 3 photo portrait plates. Three quarter polished calf & green cloth. Back in six compartments, red morocco gilt lettering piece in the second, gilt center ornaments in the rest. Five raised gilt bands between gilt fillets, top edges gilt.

Gilt stamped upper side of the original cloth bound in at the end. Very good but with rubbed edges & extremities.

Sheets & plates clean with occasional smudge, unmarked, complete. One sheet with for edge margin closed short tear just reaching the text. All Items Are Sent Insured. The item "General John B. Reminiscences of the Civil War.
