Up for sale is a token from the Civil War, issued by Benner & Bendinger, Wine & Liquor importers of New York City, 1863. Description : It is made from copper, and measures approximately 24mm in diameter. It corresponds with Fuld dies 630F-1a (R2 rarity). It has been graded at MS63 BN by NGC. According to NGC's Coin Census, only 1 has been graded finer, with 2 tied, out of a population of only 13 graded.
Condition : Well-struck, fields are shiny. A few marks keep this from an MS64 or higher (see the cheek/chin area of the bust on the obverse), but nice in hand and lots of red (maybe 35%) for the grade.
