CIVIL WAR TINTYPE IDENTIFIED 104. Cdv size tintype, 4 x 2 ½. Everingham scratched on back This came from a dealer who broke the civil war era period album. Most images were from Geneseo, NY, from the Everingham family. An accompanying tintype of Mary Howard Everingham with id on back is included. Warren Everingham Residence was not listed; 31 years old. Enlisted on 12/30/1861 at Geneseo, NY as a Private. On 12/30/1861 he mustered into "D" Co. NY 104th Infantry He died of disease as POW on 1/19/1865 at Salisbury, NC He was listed as: POW 8/19/1864 Weldon Railroad, VA Promotions: Corpl 7/15/1862 (Estimated day) Sergt 7/1/1864 Other Information: Buried: Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. Exhibits wear and use, some soft bends, o/w Gd condition.
