HE TALKS ABOUT FIGHTING , BALLS COME OVER US, THE REBS GOT DROVE AND LEFT THEIR DEAD AND WOUNDED IN OUR HANDS,, WE WENT OUT IN FRONT TO FEEL OUT THE REBS SOME AND THEY ADVANCED ON OUR SKIRMISH LINE, HE TALKS ABOUT RIDING IN AN AMBULANCE. THIS IS PACKED FULL OF INFORMATION AND THIS SOLDIERS THOUGHTS, ALMOST EVERY PAGE HAS WRITING AND ENTRIES ON IT. VERY HARD TO FIND ORIGINAL CIVIL WAR DIARIES AND THIS ONE IS VERY NICE, A FEW OF THE PAGES AND THE BINDING ARE LOOSE BUT IS COMPLETE WITH NOTHING MISSING.
