This albumen print is believed to be of the 22nd New York State Militia Regiment on Maryland Heights, near Harpers Ferry when they were stationed there in 1861/1862. Description: Soldiers wearing knapsacks topped with rolled blankets are standing in formation at order arms.Three residences, a steepled structure and camp in background. Measures 6.5" x 8.5". Appears to be an albumen print/photo similar to CDV print type which has some fading, foxing and damage, as seen in photos.
