This is a four volume set. Overall, these books are in excellent condition for their age (130+ years). Leather is drying out and there is the start of separation at the inside front cover of volume 4. Saw very few dog eared pages and one volume (Might have been 4) had a few small tears as I flipped through the pages. This is a very heavy set of books, weighing in at just under 21 pounds as shown. Books measure 8" x 11" and the four volumes contain over 3000 pages (assuming I can add correctly). Each volume was over 750 pages. Corners are slightly worn and bent on most of these volumes. Should the need arise to return this item due to damage in transit or the item not being as described, you must include detail photographs/images of the item with your return request. The photos must provide sufficient detail to allow evaluation of the item that you received.
