This is a book by Rev. Boudrye called "Historic Records of the 5th New York Calvary". The book is printed in 1865, S. Gray of Albany, New York and printed by J. This is a hardcover book, brown leather with gold lettering and gold edging on the pages.

There is a name stamped on the inside front which looks like Lorin R. I'm not 100% the last name is correct because the stamp is hard to read. It is also stamped inside on the page opposite of the title page, and the gentleman also wrote inside on the 2nd page Library of L.

If the name is indeed Woodcock, I found a gentleman named Loren Richard Woodcock online that was a member of the Company E 169th Infantry of New York. Maybe one in the same??? The difference here is Lorin is spelled what looks like Lorin in the book rather than Loren, but census' have misspelled names too, so just not sure.

Very nice condition of this book which is almost 160 years old!!! A wealth of historical information in this book! Please refer to the photos and ask any questions if needed.
