For sale is a copy of full leather cover personal copy of antique American HOLY BIBLE in excellent binding condition. It is printed in the year 1862 by the American Bible Society in New York. The Copy measures 5 by 3 for the cover size, roughly 2 thick.

The bible is in great antique condition. The front and back cover are both full tooled leather and in good shape The leather cover is tight and has no visible cracks where the covers meet the spine. Such an excellent preservation state is rare to find for bibles of this age. Common age related sign of rubbing is present.

All pages are complete and tight. There are some foxing, yellowing, staining in this copy commensurate with age.

But It is relatively clean and undamaged by water or dampness. Please check all photos for detailed condition. All in all, this is a rare well preserved early Civil war era American religious text ready to be added to your antique bible collection.
