This hardcover book is solidly bound with weak and partially broken hinges and chips to first page (see photos). The pages are age-toned and unmarked (penciled note inside front cover). The cover is slightly worn, especially along the spine, but solid and intact. Signature of original owner with note by his daughter that he served in the 105th Ohio with Tourgée. Scarce and with a rare association.
