This is a New-York Times newspaper from March 3, 1866 featuring some debate following the end of the Civil War about Civil Rights amendments, whether those who "aided in the rebellion" may ever hold office, etc.. This 8-page newspaper is subject to having wear and tear (there is about a four-inch tear to the right of the date on the first page), loose pages/covers, flaking, stains, nicks, writing and/or foxing and are in generally poor-fair condition due to age. Please look at the photos and ask any questions you might have.
