This is a lot of 10 Civil War-era issues of "The Tribune Almanac and Political Register" from 1860 to 1870 - included are the years 1860, 1861, 1863, 1864, 1865, 1866, 1867, 1868, 1869 and 1870 (a near-complete run, 1862 is not included). Published by Horace Greeley & Company and The Tribune Association in New York. Each issue contains a monthly calendar with moon phase/tidal information Occultations, Seasons, Time, etc. As would be found in a Farmer's Almanac as well as numerous illustrated advertisements. Most significant, though, is the information related to the Civil War. These issues were owned by George Wadleigh, United States Rear Admiral from Dover, New Hampshire who served in the Civil War and the Spanish-American War. Scarce, near-complete run of 10 original, individual issues (not re-printed in book form) spanning pre-, during, and post-Civil War.
