1855 New Testament in German printed in New York by The American Bible Society. Stated 1st edition of this printing. Original leather binding shows wear, especially on spine, but overall solid.

Some spots and foxing throughout. Owner inscriptions inside front cover and on front blank. Owned by Martin Shappel around the time of the Civil War. Measures around 9" x 6" and just under 1.25 thick. Please review pictures for a better idea of the condition.
