1/6 Plate Post Civil War Tintype New York State Militiaman in Dress Uniform

  

This 1/6 plate cased tintype featuring the portrait of a postwar New York militiaman in dress uniform. The man poses in a triple-breasted uniform coat with epaulettes upon his shoulders and three rows of New York State buttons which are visible under magnification. There are a couple of very slight bends in the plate, but these arent particularly noticeable under the glass. Comes in a full leather case.
