It is my pleasure to offer this incredible New York GAR Civil War cabinet card album. This is by far the most complete and impressive album of its kind I have seen. These were all taken by Gardner & Co of New York, with the 34 cards in the album all copyrighted by Grand Army Publishing. There are 34 cards in the album, it is complete and each page is filled besides the front piece which has a signed card from the album maker.

The highlights are of course shown in my images above, but I can send pics of each image if desired. The best ones feature the arch reading "The Union Forever". A parade with the GAR flag clearly visible. A sample of the flag.

Two unusual images of what I assume is inside a post with a cabinet card album, and armor below that. There is a great card featuring the Commander Lucius Fairchild and all of the elected officers that year. My personal favorite is a card featuring members of the 10th NY Zouaves and the Rebel Captain Hugh Barr who was a fellow Mason and helped care for the Yankees after the 2nd Battle of Manassas. There are cards of the delegates, the national commanders. And the rest are mainly post commanders of New York.

A simply amazing archive and an important reference and resource. The last is a group of 7 individual cards of GAR members with 2 that are identified. An incredible rare chance to own this amazing grouping.
