IDed Civil War Soldier Stencil 109th N. Y. Volunteers J. W. FOX Co. I
This is a nice identified Civil War Stencil that belonged Joseph W. Fox Company I 109th N. He enlisted at New Hudson N. July 13th 1863 , he died of disease April 5th 1864. This stencil was dug at a hospital site in Virginia many years ago, probably where this soldier died. The stencil has bends and age from being in the ground for a long time.
