The Civil War Veteran Grand Army Henry Whittelsey Post 350 was located in the historic town of Union, Broome County, New York, and named in honor of a New York veteran. The 48 star printed color cotton flag bears the large stenciled letters l "GAR Post 350". The flag is approx 16 x 10.5", and is still on it's 30" wood pole, with gilt painted tip. The flag has age stains and minor wear; the pole has a very old linen tape repair midway and is sturdy and Overall VG. General Orders and other imprints.
