Great collection - Matthew Brady original photograph of Colonel Allen Lyman Burr and Staff of the 189th N. Volunteers including 4 CVD's of Colonel Burr, letters and photographs of his family home and surroundings in Caneadea, NY - The Brady photograph has the Brady & Washington stamp on the bottom corners of photo - the back has a 5 cent Washington stamp and it is stamped Brady - the back of the photo is marked Col. Burr & Staff 189th N. Volunteers" - I believe the photograph has been trimmed to fit in the album all this ephemera was placed in Colonel Burr is in the middle of the photo - there are staple marks where the photo was stapled to a page in the album (please see photos) - there is some light foxing and staining on photo - otherwise, a great Matthew Brady original photograph - the 4 cdv's of Colonel Burr are in different grades of condition (please see photos) - the first letter is headed " Head Quarters 189th Regmt NY Vols, near Hutchins Run, Va. March 7th, 1865 (please see photos) - the second letter is from the New York State Military Agency and dated Oct.

16, 1867 - the third letter is headed from A. Halliday's National Hotel, New York, Dec. 21, 1872 - there are 15 photos of his home and surroundings in Caneadea, NY - a great collection of Civil War era ephemera- Please view photos.
