Here is a rare quarter plate original civil war tintype in half case. Frederick Epting company K 2nd reg. Pvt Epting sitting astride horse pointing pistole captured from rebel spy near Newport News VA. The horse later ridden by General Mansfield until the time of his death at Antietam, MD. Images in the gallery show condition of tintype the best we can.
