Antique bible once belonging to a Civil War Soldier identified as Charles Leonard Clark of the 64th NY Infantry, I Company. It appears that his son added some notes to the book later on.

The book notes that it was given as a gift from the Chaplin of the 64th in 1861. 1, 1861 for 3 yrs at Allegany N.

Private Co I 64th Inf. He had been a farmer. Good, medium wear and discolorations, one page has been added with notes and glue to the front of the book. As New: The book is in the same immaculate condition as when it was published.
