NY Dragoons was a cavalry regiment in the Union Army. They were engaged in the battles of Cold Harbor, Trevilian Station, Opequon, Cedar Creek, Waynesboro, VA, Five Forks and Appomattox Court House. Enlisted on August 13, 1862, at Nunda, NY, and was mustered in as Private, in Co.4 pp, 6 ¼ x 7 ¾, n. , July 5, 1863, in pencil.
