Rare cdv most likely from the Brady series Illustrations of Camp life showing with the Brady imprints trimmed off down below. Identified by numbers in period pencil above them are Captain Gustavus Meiser and Lt Robert Stolpe of the 29th NYVI which was commanded early in the War by Colonel Blenker. Great view of a large number of men in various poses, to the lower left is a Powder Keg, several are reading newspapers, one in the middle below is holding a very young child. This came from an early Civil War album put together by a soldier from Germany along with many other images from the following regiments, 8th NYVI, 29th NYVI, 68th NYVI among others.
