I counted 23 Cabinet Cards, 21 CDVs, and 20 tintype photos in this album. There are four CDVs of Civil War soldiers, two with back marks from New York photographers. Two soldiers appear to be the same man, with a civilian tintype of him in the album as well (same page as the CDVs). Probably taken post-war, he appears older. Family similarities throughout, one Cabinet card of an old man resembles this soldier.
Could be him, do not guarantee. A bit of research may identify these soldiers, I do not have the resources. I have not removed all of the photos from the album, in fear of damaging it. I did find a couple with writing on the back, may be more.
Condition will vary from each photo. Looks overall nice and well kept. The album itself is in overall good, antique condition. Red velvet with some wear.Spine is nice, minimal rips etc in the interior. Ornate working latch, stamped with a patent date.
